What will the Golf Tournament day look like?

• Our Annual tournament will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the beautiful Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, CO.  This is a scramble tournament with a shotgun start at 1:30 PM.  The day includes 18 holes of golf, cart, food, beverages, golfer swag bag and a silent auction! A BBQ dinner will be served after the round of golf is complete.
• Check-in opens at 12:30 PM. Please bring your ID, credit card, and cash. Mulligans, 50/50, and raffle are cash only this year.
• We will have water/beer/drinks/snacks on the course.
• There will be prizes for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive.
• Again this year, there will be two amazing Hole In One prizes.

What does this tournament benefit?

• Our entire event (and all we do) is based on the premise that Big Waves wishes to "create a ripple of positivity" in our community.  Central to our mission is that we believe that kindness can change the world. Rising from a tragedy 4 years ago, our event, our mission and our vision is to instill kindness and empathy in our community.  Our mission is to encourage positive mind and body health by providing an opportunity and outlet for young athletes to participate in water polo with the intention that this space creates a healthy environment for young athletes to feel and process different emotions.  Our vision is to provide a constructive outlet for youth to overcome difficult emotions in order to process them in a healthy way. In doing this, Big Waves intends on further impacting safety and education around mental health and gun violence.

When will the silent auction open?

• The Big Waves silent auction will open the Monday prior to the Golf Tournament on August 15, 2022.  It will remain open until the end of the Tournament day on August 19th, 2022.  All bidding will be done online so please register using your mobile number.  You will receive a text when the auction opens.  You do not have to be present at the tournament or a Denver local to join our silent auction.  You may join us from anywhere!  Please register on the link above.

I won an item in the silent auction!  Now what?

• Items will be available for pick-up at Colorado National Golf Course on Tournament day, following the close of the auction.  If you authorized your credit card during registration, you will be automatically billed for your item.  If you are not local or did not join us for golf, arrangements will be made with you for delivery or pick-up of your winning items.
